Doug also recently learned of Chevy’s “Do Not Pressure Wash” labels under the hood.... he saw them on the Colorado ZR2 and assumed it was because owners would get them dirty off road... but the Chevy CRUZE has them too.
He also always fails to understand ‘map’ pockets on the backs of the front seats. They’re not for back seat passengers, hence why the Colorado and many others have them only on the passenger side seatback, they’re for MAPS the DRIVER can easily reach by extending an arm behind that seat.
Not that anyone actually USES paper maps anymore.
Except at theme parks, I guess.

Map pockets are toy / snack / drink / magazine holders for the rear passengers.
Also anyone pressure washing an engine bay is a dummy.

Map pockets have evolved to hold anything... even to the point where little bastard kids will shove things in there that stretch them out and break the seams.
But in the beginning they were designed to be MAP pockets. For maps.

THAT’s what that means? :p
I thought it was, “don’t pour gasoline on the engine” or “do not cut with a chainsaw”
Actually, I’ve never seen that before lol

I hate Doug’s lack of knowledge or research .

Never visit my shop neighbors then. They pressure wash EVERY engine bay they work on. And it’s a diesel unit too, so I can never breathe.
And I see them get into every crack and crevice.
They also use it to strip the paint off cars too.

I saw my first last week on a used car we had in the shop. Hence why it was ironic that Doug saw HIS first as well.

Used to be there as well. Now there’s barely room for a ‘bottle’ holder.

Map pockets are also handy for those gigantic freaking Rand Mcnally atlases you can pick up at a Walmart and have a guide to America when the Internet won’t help you.
